This program is intended for farmers market vendors who want
to sell at farmers markets AND farmers market managers/organizers
who want vendors to sell at their market.
WHAT: Are you a vendor
looking to sell at farmers markets you don’t currently
attend? Are you a farmer interested in selling at farmers’
markets, but don’t know where to start? Are you a market
manager or organizer that needs more vendors or a vendor who
sells a particular product? Look no further than the FMA Vendor
- Market Matchmaking Program.
WHERE: Your farm or market
should be located anywhere in Western Pennsylvania –
including the counties of: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford,
Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene,
Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Somerset, Venango, Warren,
Washington, and Westmoreland.
WHEN: Sign up for the program
runs from October 1 to March 15 for the 2008 market season.
Matches will be sent out no later than April 15, 2008 so that
vendors and markets can plan accordingly.
WHY: Whether you are a
vendor or a market, sometimes it’s difficult to connect
with the people who will best benefit your business. FMA’s
Vendor - Market Matchmaking Program makes these connections
possible. We bring the contact information right to your door
so that you don’t have to spend time seeking out the
markets that will be your best match.
